Abandonment at any early age by my father led me to the writing of my poem Was I Ever a Child?

Abstract:
“The title of my book, Bebekah, is based on a nickname given me by my Greek grandmother, Yaya as I called her. She named me after a little girl in a cartoon appearing in a Greek newspaper, noticing a resemblance to me. Neighbors and friends could not say Bebekah and called me Becky, which has hung on all these many years.”

Facts can get jumbled and this seems to be somewhat true in this cute book. People in the beginning have one name and another later on. This paperback provides hours of entertainment that one can identify with whether we are the one who lived the stories or wrote them. Probably reflects many immigrants' tales. The heart sings and is set free.
