Perfectly Straight starts at the peak of Stevie’s movie career and follows her as she tries to resolve the conflict between her public and private persona. In struggling to find her identity she explores relationships with men and women until finally discovering who she really is. The subject matter is fresh and new and presented with such honesty that the reader has no choice but to care about the characters.
