This is a true story about a boy named Daniel whom was transfused with tainted blood from kidney surgery. Daniel taught compassion and patience to everyone he met.

Abstract:
A mother fights to keep her son alive to prove her unconditional and dying love for him in hope for an AIDS’ cure. She flew over 150 times to the National Institutes of Health while dealing with the fear of flying. Bravely, Daniel chose to live his life privately so his family wouldn’t experience heartache that Ryan White and others had to. Daniel, through not complaining, taught everyone close to him that our problems are minute in comparison. Daniel wrote a speech to help raise monies for Camp Heartland but didn’t live long enough for anyone to hear it.

A roller coaster of emotions that only a mother with a child on the verge of death can understand. Heart-breaking and heart-warming all at the same time. Gives you the strength to continue hoping even at the bleakest times. An insight to the courage and love that's there between the lines along with all the torment. An inspiration to us all in a time of great unrest. Pita Dominguez-Colorado

  Touched by a true angel , 01/27/2014

My name is Kevin, as a child I was one of the very lucky people to have the Yarnell's in my life. Although young learned so much from Daniel. He was my neighbor, but more than that he was like my brother. I have never to this day forgotten this incredible and inspiring family. Through all they endured in the fight for Daniels health their son taught more humanity than ever possible in any other manner. I found this book and was instantly inconsolable over just the thought of the true angel this world lost...I'm at a true loss i thought I might of been over it but over 10 years later my eyes still swell at the thought of this family and all they endured in thier quest....
