  Awesome!! , 03/17/2005

I think it is awesome!!! I can tell I really enjoy a book when I doesn't make me fall asleep. Yours not only kept me awake but kept me up late!! Nick is like a cat, he has extra lives. The last several chapters were especially good (exciting) and the end keeps you wanting more. Like, what happens to Nick? Will he escape or help find the rest of the virus? And what about the rest of the virus, you know they have more? Will Marina come to her senses and move back to the US? I really enjoyed it!

As good as Tom Clancy , 03/18/2005
Reviewer: Tom Boltik
If you like a thriller that is closer to fact than fiction, this book is the one to read! From the attention to details about traffic around D.C., to the suspenseful reuniting of the brothers Francis and Nick, Mr. McMahon weaves a tale of international intrigue that is both credible and frightening. In today's modern world, activities like the one outlined here may be taking place without our knowledge. Mr. McMahon captures the fears of modern society with characters you can actually care about. This is one book that draws you in, and doesn't let you go.

Thriller with local appeal , 03/18/2005

Fast paced and believable, keeps you rooting for the good guys. Packed with authentic detail, but not so much it bogs down. The author obviously draws from experience. Less tiresome than Clancy, but with the same realism. As exciting as Cussler, but more realistic. Timely, provocative. Highly recommended!

This a good first book for the author. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters. It was a quick read and I finished in a few hours. I had to finish it.. It seemed very true life. I'm waiting for the next one to come out, so I can find out more about the brothers.. Buy it, you will definately enjoy it.
