Present Moment
The present moment is very hard to attain. Masters tuck themselves away in a retreat or caves to connect with this state. That is why I have given you various exercises or ways of understanding a single focus to put you in that place.
The present moment when Jay Paul refers to it is a multidimensional experience. You slow your energies down to a place outside of time, though that is an illusion because linear time continues moving forward.
When I was child I always felt that if I walked slowly enough I could disappear. After I had learned this meditation the insight came; that is how I felt walking so slow. I am blessed with a large ancient turtle as a daughter so it has cultivated the patience I need.
Present Moment Meditation
I want you to find a comfortable position. Focus on the path the breath makes in and out of your physical body. As the lungs press up against the heart with each breath pause and feel the beating of your heart. Let that be your single focus.
There will be thoughts that occur for that is the nature of the human mind. As the clouds pass you by on a beautiful sunny day allow those thoughts, as clouds, to do the same.
I want you also to be able to slow those thoughts down. Close or calm those mental frequencies. Push that energy of the day or week away from your aura. This extends the moment.
I may date myself, but like a voice on an LP played at 78 which was a record speed. This affects the frequencies of the etheric, astral and spiritual bodies.
I want you to connect with the space between the cells and in that time frame slow the energy down there as well.
You will begin to physically notice your breath and diaphragm slow down as well as the beating of your heart.
You will start to feel every cell that makes up your physical body. You will begin to experience every cell in your body for that is representational of you in the physical experience in linear time. Connect with the skin. Very often we forget the vast organ the skin is it embraces our energy to give us form. Accept what you feel in your body with love for the gift of life. With unconditional love accept the beauty you are.
Slow down the energy between those cells.
See the inner state, the moment state, the sun at the centre of your own universe. The brilliance of the light within you, the iridescent white light that holds the colors of violet and blue, the shimmering silver and gold. You are at the doorway of the spiritual, emotional and physical. Allow yourself to be suspended here, to bathe in that light.
In this space inside of you become anything you want to be or just be conscious energy.
This is a place where you can take the issues or obstacles you are dealing with in your life. Ask the universe for its blessing and healing on them and witness their transformation to bring you peace.
Feel weightless, become your universal being, let that light expand within you to bring you in harmony with the essence of your being.
It will help you to see differently in your everyday life. The big issues may not seem so big and important.
When you are ready allow yourself to again experience the physical connecting with the cells with love.
