Love’s Son Signed My Name
By the throne of love, Mankind stands; the book of life is opened, By Love’s hand.
According to the book, Man’s deeds are considered, Some deeds sweet, Some deeds bitter.
Their hearts are weighed, Their faith is measured; By believing in love’s son, Life’s book names love’s pleasures!
In the lake of fire and brimstone, Death and hell are cast, To His sheep the Lamb speaks saying, Well done for your completed task!
Throughout all eternity, To be more precise Your new future residence, Will be paradise!
The Heavens Await Thee
As we crossed both our paths, You noticed my sad plight, That I was oh so wingless, And could not take flight.
Void of likeness of an angel, Yourself being so profound, Myself oh sadly wingless, Somewhat badly confound.
You did not hesitate, Helping me acquire my wings, Your nurturing care and love, Made them blossom like spring.
After sharing your wisdom, On how to rise and soar, I mastered your techniques, And to me you said Encore!
Now go beloved pupil, Help others to arise, Likewise enlighten them, And also vitalize.
My wings so beautiful, My lessons now complete, Now others I must enlighten, So freedom they too can greet.
After we receive our wings, No more bound by the shore, Let’s now also teach others, That they may also soar.
Thy Wisdom Come
When wisdom offers a kiss, Let’s not be shy, Receive it with joy! Because wisdom makes us wise.
Wisdom presents itself, To those that will be led Those willing to follow, Are those that will be fed!
Wisdom can be found, In both those great and small, No matter their status, We can learn from all!
Confronted by someone wiser, We sometimes feel so small, Accept what they can offer, That we may too grow tall!
Sometimes faced with problems, Not knowing what to do, Wisdom can resolve them, Knowing what to ask and who!
Open your ears to wisdom, Giving attention well, Receiving it whole-heartedly, Wisdom gladly tells!
Follow after wisdom! Disciples of wisdom be. It opens the eyes of the blind And gives its children peace.
Fight!
Sometimes so down and out, Life’s troubles make us weep, Burdens that be so heavy, Sadness is all we reap.
Feeling oh so weary, Thinking there is no hope, Discouraged by tribulations, Finding it hard to cope.
Indulging ourselves in patience, Focused on the prize, We’ll find ourselves exalted, Above life’s rising tides!
A friendship with endurance, An acquaintance in our lives, Can help us to prevail, Take wings and also thrive!
As surely as we live, The sun will rise and shine, Cherish and cling to life, A precious gift divine!
Let us fearlessly pursue, Our heart’s dreams and goals! Obstacles be what may, Be courageous also bold!
As long as life’s breath, Runs through our very soul, Our orders are to march! Conquer our dreams and goals!
