It is believed that thought is the most powerful force in the universe. Man is separated from the animal world only by his thumb, ability to think, and his consciousness. God gives man divine ideas and together creates all the wonderful gifts we enjoy here on Earth. God created the universe. God created man to help create all the good things we have to use: clothing, shelter, transportation, great inventions. This makes us co-creators with God to create all the things we need to get along on this Earth. God gives us ideas to carry out his plans and ours. Once we are given the idea it is ready for processing. We hold God’s idea in mind and it finds its way into reality. At present, you have ideas for some of the things you want to be, do, and have. You know the only way you have to get them is to work. Therefore, you hold the thought in mind and the thought will seek after its kind. You have just thought your way into the job you want and the kind of life you want for you and your family. Consider your thoughts carefully; your past thoughts brought you to where you are. Your present thinking takes you where you want to go tomorrow. Nearly everyone gathers bad mental habits and it takes serious thinking to get rid of them. Some of the reasons are; we do not forgive others for the physical, mental, and financial harm they do us. Soon after childhood we commence to learn about things that cannot be done. We tell ourselves things that simply are not true. With all that going on in our minds, it is no wonder we have low self-esteem, are discouraged, and depressed. Those thoughts harm us more than we think, and must be erased from our consciousness. There is only one way to do it. Start by forgiving everybody that has harmed you physically, mentally, or financially. It is best to forget the incident ever happened. As negative thoughts enter your consciousness zap them, and replace them with thoughts of wellbeing. Wish everybody well and move on with your life. After zapping the harmful thought say an affirmation. (Affirmations are thoughts about good things you believe and tell yourself). Retain those good thoughts in your consciousness. Write your own positive affirmations and use them when you zap a negative thought and replace with a positive one. For example say aloud, “I am a child of God; made in his image and likeness. Therefore, I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, prosperous, loving, happy, and reverent.” Make this an affirmation and recite it several times a day. Read and think about the following affirmations. If you like them and are willing to work on a plan of self-improvement I will be glad to help you. Do one of the following affirmations each day for thirty days, after you have completed number 10 start over. God is the answer to my questions, the solution to my problems and the provider of all my needs. Examine your possibilities. What does the future hold for you? You decide. It all depends on how you think. The basic difference between you and the animal world is your thumb and the ability to think. Thinking is the flow of words passing through your mind. Thinking entertains thoughts of what you want to be, do, and have. It is important to control those thoughts. Your thoughts affect your future either positively or negatively. You have a choice. By thinking good thoughts, life will fulfill all of your desires. Thinking about desires gives the mind a track to run on. Stop and think, what are your desires, your needs? How high are your goals? Where do you want to be five years from now? Think positively about your desires; therein lies your future. Nothing happens until you think. Thinking produces ideas, ideas produce a better way of doing, and doing produces a better way of life. Become idea conscious. Write your ideas in a diary or journal for future consideration. All ideas are of great value, cherish them. Use your mind to develop ideas to
