Abstract:
This book is a collection of five dark and haunting tales that depict ordinary people coping with mystical, supernatural beings bent on their destruction. The characters come face to face with death and annihilation on every level imaginable, and realize that despite the overwhelming odds, with a little help, all people can escape the impending horrors that they face. In all tales, good triumphs over evil as each character beckons God to the rescue and is delivered from every terror imaginable. The stories touch on many themes, ranging from Middle Eastern terrorism to the evils of witchcraft, interlaced with everyday struggles that all people face on a day to day basis.
