What a great book, I could not but it down. The descriptions of the horses and riders were terrific it was as if I were there riding along with characters. Really enjoyed this book I have been getting some of the kids in the classroom in which I work to read it also. So far it is a big hit. Anita

Judge's Comments: Very informed, a clear strategy and an engaging telling... The illustrations were lovely and worked beautifully...the drawings here feel sketched and real and done with care. The writing moves with ease and clarity. The knowledge of horses seems deep and earned.
