To a lawless territory, threatened by the Motherland, Eden bears a gift that would bring healing and balance. But his sacred path holds no place for his thirst for revenge.

Abstract:
Brinstead would sooner persecute its lute players than the outlaws who roam with pistols at the ready. Bloody vendetta shadows the lives of the settlers. The Motherland reaches out its hand to conquer their hidden land. Young Eden Bander feels helpless in the face of these conflicts. Yet Fate reveals his kinship with the Shaini, beings that incarnate throughout the ages to remind mankind of its spiritual heritage. Eden feels and responds to the Song of the Guardians. But can it redeem not only his orphan life but also the very land he’s grown to love?

This could be the next incarnation of the spirit that floats among us, invisible. If you like Linda Lay Schuler's and Mercedes Lackey's well painted fictional historys then you will like this. Mr. Mullins grabbed me with just the first tease chapter. Couldn't grab CC fast enough to get a copy. Watch for great things to appear from the Mullins pen and pad.

In reviewing the intial tease chapter; I to was compelled to purchase and dwelve deeper into the terrains of the ink blotted pages of the Untamed Land. The Descriptive journey really places you in the setting as if you were sitting with the Magi, and the trickling suspense of what happens next and then a sudden commotion, shots fired... Is your boy for sale? I could only image the twist and turns of this fantismo historial yet original Song....of an Untamed Land. This I will purchase, I know its worth it :)

Mr. Mullins has captured the essence of characters and journeys with poetic charm. I keep my copy readily available (amidst my daily chaos) to find the Untamed Land unfolding with a new adventure on every page. Paragraphs sing with a graceful voice. I don't want it to ever end!!

I was surprised when this book was recommended to me by a friend. I thought it not to be my usual read, but took a chance. What a beautiful story, beautifully told; and so difficult to categorize as simply fantasy. the tale grows in you with each turn of the page. Do not be daunted by the length of the book- this story will pass so quickly leaving you begging for more.
