Abstract:
What if honor, dignity and courage were traits found in the everyday man again? Come ride with Moses Trinidad and the Buffalo Soldiers of 9th Cavalry as they battle gun smugglers, outlaws, a corrupt sheriff and a town of people who despise them because of their color. Through personal diary entries, follow the emotional hazards and pains a Sergeant of color had to endure as he tried to mold men for battle and shape a nation out of the desolate West. Men and women find forbidden love, only to have it snatched from their hands. A young white officer finds the strength of will deep down to battle Indian foes and gain the respect of his men.
