Abstract:
A wish for an exciting escape from a dreary week at Grandma's backfires as Nicholas is carried into the woods by a dragon intent on making Nicholas his next meal. Now Nicholas' three brothers must embark on a desperate quest to save him, traveling through a magical realm of unforgettable characters including an angry giant, an enormous spider, and a miniature witch trapped in a snow globe for thirty-five years. Unbeknownst to the boys, they have been plunged into a plot, which spans generations, and each step brings them closer to fulfilling mysterious prophecies, as marked on an ancient puzzlebox.
