These stories are about real people who deal with life using spiritual principles that look beyond the materialistic life that has no meaning, to one of great hope and empowerment.

Abstract:
These personal stories are about real people, real life challenges, and how courageous people deal with life, using spiritual principles. Written from the perspective of Native Americans living in the old west, these stories are relevant at a time when the world is searching for greater meaning in life. The spiritual principles of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, and other 12 Step programs speak to everyone today as a way of life that looks beyond the materialistic life that goes nowhere, and has no meaning, to one of great hope and empowerment.

Review: "Tricia C.'s new book "Looking Through Wisdom's Eyes," touched a place in my heart where my connection to spirit breathes its warm energies. It gave me added warmth. Her stories tell of spiritual recovery and of increasing awareness, through the tone and flavor of the native American spiritual traditions. Tricia's easy-flowing writing style made it easy to understand and absorb the valuable gems within each of the short stories. Each story closes with a question of reflection which each of us should take to heart to see what our underlying motivations in life really are. This little book is a powerful catalyst for those wishing to explore themselves further, and perhaps in the process, increase their self knowledge and compassion for others. I recommend it highly." ---- Mark Greenia, author of "Energy Dynamics: Conscious Human Evolution."

Your book came today and I am more than half way through . It is excellent and so good that you followed your guidance to bring it into print. You never know the lives you will touch by your willingness to share yourself in this way. I love the cover with the Kiva ladder that could symbolize "ascending" back into the world or taking one step at a time. Grandmother must be proud of you!

I can't believe how beautiful even the cover is on this book! It would make me want to pick it up even if I didn't know what the inside was like. The stories are just marvelous, and I can relate to so many of them because of my own experiences. Thank you so much for writing this wonderful book of stories!
