Abstract:
Tortured Heart Be Healed is a story set in 1811 England about a young woman named Amanda Somers who escapes her abusive stepfather’s iron rule when she refuses to wed his oppressive nephew. She leaves her home in America behind to seek refuge with her cousin in England. During Amanda’s time in England, she meets Lord Alexander Talonswrath. The pair are drawn to one another. Amanda is hesitant when Alex begins to pursue her. Their attraction grows stronger. Amanda is lead into a trap and finds herself abducted by her horrid stepfather. Alex will risk all to save his ladylove.
