Abstract:
Traveling with her dad combined with attending Girl Scout Camp into high school years, grew into wanderlust, a love of nature and an enjoyment of exploring new things for this Grandma on the Loose. A nursing career strengthened her compassion. A lot of life spent with other cultures gives a perspective unique only to her. The reader will vicariously enjoy adventures and misadventures of canoeing and backpacking around Texas. One will experience run away horses at camp, death in the emergency room, navigating whitewater after dark and rock-climbing. She will captivate you with a sense of humor that is sassy and irreverent while tempered with maturity.
