Abstract:
Book One

Liza McIntyre was devastated when an uprising of the Northern Santee Sioux swept through the state and slaughtered both her parents. They took her sister captive, so she put the destruction and death behind her as she went in search of sixteen year old Grace. Liza was a lone woman determined to rescue her sister or die trying.

Book two

Grace McIntyre was taken captive by Watu, son of a chief, who wanted to make her his mate. There was no way for her to escape from the murdering band of Santee Sioux so Grace hoped and prayed that God would give her sister, Liza, the courage and skill it would take to rescue her.
