Abstract:
Life for Rose Albert began on a small farm in Saskatchewan in a large family comprised or “yours” (Paul and Anna’s seven), “mine” (Matilda Dekteroff’s six) and “ours” – (Paul and Matilda’s four.) At fourteen she quit school, began working and eventually moved to Ontario. There she met a man, and not knowing he was already married, she fell in love, got pregnant and had a baby boy. When Larry was two and a half, she met Jim, who became the love of her life. Eventually they married and moved to the U.S, where she spent many years working and living as a prodigal.
