Abstract:
Forty years of songs and poems from early teens to present, are this author’s history. In
“Songs With Geography”, she takes you from California to Maryland, where the kindness of space, time and healing are Nature’s gifts. The “Songs” section contains most of her earlier songs that reflect self-influenced words and rhythms coaxed to creation by limiting her exposure to the music of others. When does adulthood begin? Uninhibited prose, as in the “Springtime Magnolia Collection” have sweet, uncanny perceptions, reminiscent of things known but not yet experienced, whereas “Poems of Fury and Shame” deliver full blast!
