Abstract:
The United States has elected its first president with a Muslim background. The president is tested soon after taking office by terrorists who explode a dirty bomb in a rural area of Maryland. They threaten to detonate another dirty bomb in an American city in 36 hours unless the president returns to the religion of his childhood, and publicly announces his conversion to Islam. The president refuses and a harrowing game of cat and mouse between Islamic terrorists and the United States government ensues.
