Abstract:
It is four days before the Battle of Antietam near Sharpsburg, Maryland in September 1862. The Lincoln Administration prepares to issue the emancipation proclamation and swirls with political intrigue. General George B. McClellan is hailed by many as the savior of the North but the General favors keeping slavery and is playing his own game.

Will McClellan fight knowing his victory will give Lincoln what he needs to free the slaves? Or will General McClellan take the government into his own hands, and win his game once and for all by reuniting the Union with slavery. Unless Lincoln acts first!
