Abstract:
Megan’s brother, Brendan, hacked their parents to death 12 years ago and now he has escaped from a mental institution in California. When horrific killings happen along Rt. 66, starting in Arizona and heading east, she becomes convinced he’s coming home to kill her.

She travels to the lush green woods of northern Wisconsin with Thor, her 120 pound wolf/dog, hybrid for safety.

In the north woods and on a Menominee reservation, Megan will unravel a mystery 140 years in the making, learn the truth about her parent’s death and meet the love of her life.
