The WTC had everything: drug stores, shoe stores, music stores, bank branches, airline ticket booths, Broadway ticket booths, even beauty salons! One never had to leave the complex unless to stroll down Maiden Lane. Now that the towers are gone, the old World Trade Center remain in our memories.

Abstract:
The World Trade Center stood tall and majestic, glistening in the sun, beckoning me to enter into its tall glass revolving doors one summer day in 1979. I worked there for 21 years, until it was tragically destroyed on September 11, 2001. While the book recounts the two devastating disasters of 1993 and 2001, it also tells of the many fond memories of life at the World Trade Center. Now that the towers are gone, the joy of life at the World Trade Center remains in my memory.
