Major surgery is a momentous event in the life of a person. The surgeon and medical personnel have their specific functions, which do not include pastoral counseling.

Therefore, this pastoral booklet comes to inspire and encourage you as you await surgery, recuperate or adjust to conditions brought on by surgery or a major traumatic illness such as cancer; or undergo on-going treatment programs, such as radiation, chemotherapy, dialysis, physiotherapy, etc., whether postoperative or otherwise.
