"Interpretive Adventures" is a challenging and insightful look at the biblical text. Many popular books on the Bible have a lot to say, but hold little substance. Though small (138 pages), Garner's "Interpretive Adventures" is a powerful look at the Word and the world. Rather than imposing his own ideas onto the text, Garner skillfully pulls truths from the Word that are relevant and applicable. I would recommend his work to anyone looking to challenge conventional ways of thinking pertaining to the Bible. You won't be bored!
