James F. Caldwell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended they Tulsa public schools. He holds degrees from the University of Tulsa, Duke University, and Oklahoma State University. Dr. Caldwell is a retired college vice president after having spent some early years of his life as a parish minister.
Over the years he has been involved in a variety of activities and causes, including music, community theater, little league coaching, and civil rights.
Between him and his wife, Willa Dean, they have three sons. The people dearest to Dr. Caldwell are his family.
Dr. Caldwell felt compelled to write this book as a response to some of his experiences and observations in life.
