Biography:
Lana Waite is a Seattle native. At the University of Washington she studied architecture but nothing came of it; she married a Navy man and ended up in California. She still misses the view from Queen Anne Hill—ferries on Puget Sound, snow covered mountains, downtown Seattle… After three children, doing her share of volunteering, and a stint as a secretary, she settled into computer work and writing. It makes her something of a hermit. Family is the most important thing in life and hers is close by. She feels lucky—to be a mom, a grandma, and a writer.
