Biography:
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, Jack Webb is the son of Richard and Milly Webb. Jack lived in Nome until he was three, grew up in Fairbanks, and graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. He retired from flying fighters in the Air Force in 1990 and retired from flying jets for Continental Airlines in 2003. Jack met and married his co-author, Susan Hankey Webb, when they were both Air Force officers. Born in Hagerstown, Maryland, she retired from the Air Force as a Public Affairs officer in 1999. Jack and Susan are world travelers, genealogists and ocean sailors. They live aboard a 43-foot sailboat, “Denali Rose,” and are sailing the seas.
