Michael J. DeCicco had an inspiring English teacher much like Mark Kaurlin when he was a budding writer in high school in the late '60s. His credentials include experience as a reader of Young Adult books for the book review section of The Boston Globe, over 20 years as a freelance writer and news reporter, and a B.A. degree in Creative Writing from Roger Williams University, Bristol, RI.
