After studying at Penn State University, Barb McClatchy pursued a career in business communications in the health care industry before years in corporate America inspired her to write fiction again as a means of escaping the Ivory Towers. A veteran who has occasionally worn corporate shackles within the proverbial Towers, her writing typically focuses on the dichotomy between corporate America’s short-term objectives and the pursuit of meaning in the daily grind. She’s authored three novels, one of which is currently available in print. She lives outside Philadelphia with her husband and, when blessed with their presence, her daughter and three stepdaughters.
