Ruth Ann Crowder was born on September 3, 1979 in Monticello, NY. She is the 3rd youngest of eight siblings. After she was born, she moved to Spring Valley, NY, where she grew up and graduated from high school.

Immediately after graduating, she moved to upstate NY, where she attended Sullivan County Community College. She graduated from S.C.C.C in May of 2001, earning an AAS in Commercial Art.

After graduating, she moved back to Spring Valley, NY and worked as a freelance graphic designer, as well as in the mortgage industry. She now resides in Congers, NY with her family.
