Michael, a 33-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, began his career as a covert Intelligence Officer and retired as Commanding officer of the Training & Education Bureau . After retirement, he accepted positions as Manager of Public Service Programs, Criminal Justice Instructor and as an Evening Campus Manager. He also volunteered as a Constitutional Law Instructor at the Philadelphia Police Academy.

Michael holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Education. Except for his military experience as a paratrooper during the Viet Nam era, he’s lived in Philadelphia his entire life.

Trojan Horse 4 was Michael’s first novel, followed by Children of the Clan, Dublin Odyssey, Curve Ball, Imperfect Contrition, Insurrection.
