Cliff Compton is an author, bluegrass and gospel musician known throughout the California Bluegrass community as the “Bluegrass Bard”. The name comes from a poetry column he writes for the “Bluegrass Breakdown,” an award winning publication of the California bluegrass association written for the promotion and preservation of bluegrass, gospel, and old time music. A lifelong musician and poet, he can be found at festivals and gatherings along the pacific coast.

He is the author of Fighting the Devil, a book of poetry available through most booksellers or his web site at http://bluegrassbard.webs.com/ and is a husband, and father to four beautiful children.
