The author currently lives in Winchester, Virginia. He enjoys maintaining the nature trails around his retirement community and also looks after the Fox Hollow Trail in Shenandoah National Park. He enjoys a good scotch, a good mystery, and his family and friends, all in good moderation.

The editor is happy to be the author’s daughter. She lives in Richmond, Virginia and currently manages the Exhibition Lighting Department of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. She is the author of three Young Adult novels: No Shakespeare Allowed, The Beginning of Unbelief, and The Hollow Summer.
