Biography:

The author is a descendant of the indigenous Igorot tribe from Benguet, Philippines. In WWII he participated in carrying military supplies airdropped by Allied planes to guerilla headquarters and smuggled food to POWs in Japanese prison camps.

The war over, the author studied high school in Trinidad then graduated Chemistry that qualified him for work as gold refinery engineer with a mining concern. He subsequently became Executive Secretary to Major Bado Dangwa in his transportation business wherein his narrations on 66th Infantry exploits and interviews with veteran workers enriched this book. Married to Miguela, the couple has five children.
