Biography:

Ken Foreman earned his doctorate from the University of Southern California where he was an All-American athlete in 1948-1949, he was granted emeritus status at Seattle Pacific University, and he continues to coach. Ken, a hall of fame coach, has produced five Olympians, multiple national and world record holders, and has served on the staff of fourteen International teams, including the 1980, and 1988 Olympic teams.
The stories and the life principles espoused in Spitting Through a Knothole stem from his experiences in WW II and his working with many of the top track and field athletes in the world.

Believing in one’s possibilities is the first step toward the freedom to be! Based on the premise that almost everyone has been engineered for success but not everyone is a success story, I explore things (impedimenta) that tend to trip us up. I then write about achievers—individuals who I have worked with and known—who always do the hard job first and who universally have a burn to succeed.
