Bill Soulsby lives in California with his wife and many assorted pets. Though his 1988 trucking accident left him disabled, he has gone on to obtain a college degree, start a small business, and start an additional career in writing. He has trained in peer counseling through The Phoenix Society, has counseled at a children's burn camp, and is a member of a support group. He has also attended several World Burn Congresses, and helps with fundraisers in the Burn community.
