Lisa Hinson is the youngest of three children in her family. She holds degrees from Tuskegee University, Aenon, and Pentecostal Bible College. She was baptized at the Pentecostal Faith Church of God in 1989. Later that same year on October 2nd, her birthday, she received the gift of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues according to Acts 2:38. She presently attends the Greater Morning Star Pentecostal Church in Washington, D.C. She lives and writes in Woodstock, Virginia.
