I was born and raised in Virginia in the year 1960. Currently I reside on the southern coast of Georgia. From an early age I knew I wanted to write though struggled with what to say. My passion is Ancient African history. I am known to my web readers and friends as The African Daughter. In every poem I seek to present to the reader a mixture of cultural pride along with a dose of reality.
