Abstract:
The story is about a teenage boy whose life is shattered after he is raped at the age of twelve by his foster uncle’s drunken girlfriend. Since then Tamasi’s outlook on life changed. His internal struggles to redefine himself and carry on a normal teenage life meets with great resistance from within. He can no longer be the innocent twelve year old his parents believe he is. Yet he has to pretend to be that twelve year old in the face of tremendous odds. Because his parents are not aware that he is no longer a virgin, he struggles alone to resolve a monumental psychological and emotional problem that requires professional help or at least parental guidance. In doing so he is caught in the macabre dance of sex, lies and betrayal, a lesson he has learned from his uncle’s girlfriend.
