Hell at Tannehill is a full-length novel about the Civil Was Iron Producing Center at Tannehill, Alabama.

Abstract:
Tannehill was the iron producing center for the Confederacy during the Civil War. This is the fictional story of the people, with fictional names at that time. But the historical facts are included in the story.

After Gingers’ mother died, she became depressed and quiet and never responded to her surroundings. But a letter brought shock to her causing an alarm, to rescue her aunt from Yankee control.

A lot of anxiety and deep emotions were felt, for fear of the Yankees. They took all of the animals to the mountains and a lot of the people just left, while others waited in fear. And on March 31, 1865 the Yankees came in and destroyed the place by setting fire to everything but one house. And they created, “Hell at Tannehill”.
