The author was born in 1940 in Virginia. He attended and graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and is a practicing research engineer. He married Anna in 1976 and their life was magical . Unfortunately, in 1981, she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Using his research skills, the author used many texts as well as newer techniques to find the very latest information about the disease and its treatment. Much medical information and technology was learned and used effectively for this book. The author sincerely hopes that this book will help those and their loved ones affected by this disease.
