Abstract:
One evening in 1995, the impulse to write became overwhelming to the point, I picked up my pen and began to write. Suddenly I was writing so fast, it was difficult replacing one sheet of paper with another. I ended up with pages of scribbling without punctuation of any kind. When I deciphered it for legibility, I found in rhyme “What’s it about my Brother?” This was my first “spiritual” experience with writing. From that experience, my psyche became filled with poems and short stories which is now compiled, as “Lord, Those Church Folks.”
