If you expect to see me walking in a daze, think again for you will be amazed. To you, I may have a look of dullness upon my face, but Im shining because of Gods amazing grace. It is He that supplies all my needs and He that waters and fertilizes all of our seeds. They say that when it rains, it pours but guess what, God opens all doors. I may be at times lonely and afraid, but theres a reason why I was made. Im not a star that dwells in the sky, but I am one that shines bright and I know why.

I shine because of Gods grace and mercy,

I shine because of Gods tender loving care.

I shine because He made me a better person,

I shine because when I call His name, Hes there.

I shine because Im that guiding light,

Helping our children see there future as being promising

and very, very bright.

I shine because I believe in God with all my might,

He watches over all both day and night.

Dont look for me to be sad, dull nor pale,

because my God never fails.
