Hop in, she told them as they got there. The sled was large enough for at least three people. Hold on! she yelled back to them as she was pulling on the rope to start the machine. She was very excited, and was laughing to herself. She was thinking they dont know what they are in for. She was going to give them quite a ride!
The kids were all in the sled, they were holding on. Maggie sat down on the seat of the snowmobile, gave it some gas, ducked below the windshield, and hung on. She was going to take them over every bump and hill in the field! She was hitting the bumps, laughing so hard, because she knew the kids behind her in the sled were either laughing or scared! As she rounded the driveway hitting the last large bump, her stomach was aching from laughing so hard, and she knew that bump would do the kids in, and really make them laugh! After going over that last bump, she slowed down and looked behind her at the kids in the sled and OH NO! The sled was not even there! Where was it? she asked herself. Looking way back down the field to where she had started, there was the sled! She had forgotten to hook the sled to the snowmobile!! The kids were laughing so hard; they were rolling on the snow, laughing at Maggie!
