CONTENT OF REVELATION (Chapters 6-22) "The Things which shall be Hereafter"
Whereas figure 32.1 shows where whole Chapters generally fit in time, some of the Chapters 6-22 skip around in time (such as Chapters 6,8,11,12,14-17,19,20). It is useful to indicate where key sections of each of the Chapters fit into the Categories established by figure 1.1 in Section-1. The six pages of table 32-4 that follow are provided to accomplish this purpose. Of the 6 pages of table 32-4, page 1 outlines chapters 6, 7 and 8. The information under the heading "Outline" breaks that Chapter down into its key elements. The information under the heading "Category" shows a number for the Category previously identified in figure 1.1. The letter "S" is identified in the upper right corner of the figure as a Seal. "T" represents Trumpets and later, on page 4 of 6, "V" is for Vials.
The first definite Category listed in Revelation is No. 3 which is the Rapture of the Body of Christ (shown as Seal 3). Seals 4 and 5 occur during the Great Tribulation period whereas Seal 6 occurs at Armageddon. Note that in Seal 6, the moon is as blood which occurs "before" the Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord is primarily a time of Gentile judgment whereas Seals 4 and 5 are primarily a judgment on Israel. Chapter 7 is all of Category 3 and is related to the events surrounding the Rapture and the Sealing of the 144,000 Virgins who follow the Bride to the Father's house. We see this great multitude in white robes (the righteousness of the Saints) made white by the shed blood of the Lamb of God (Christ). Chapter 8 back-tracks to Category 3 (where everything in heaven and earth are "still") until the Rapture and translation of the 144,000 Virgins take place. The Trumpets along with their Vial counterpart by the same numbers begin with the start of Seal 4 (a 40 day judgment on Jerusalem in accord with Ezek 4:6). If the 4 Vials are examined along with the 4 Trumpets there are found 4 factors: hail, fire, blood and sores on men with the 666 mark. Trumpet 2 shows a mountain size asteroid plunging into the sea and 1/3 of the sea is blood, whereas in Vial 2 all in the sea died. The interpretation is that the sea is the Mediterranean sea. This part of God's judgment is in the area of Israel, not the whole world until we reach the Day of the Lord. Trumpet 3 and Vial 3 is another judgment on Israel involving another asteroid striking the rivers and fountains. This event occurs at the end of the 40 day judgment ("their end is bitter as wormwood"). This is followed by a judgment of darkness caused by volcanic eruptions (a thick darkness) but still allowing the vial 4 sun to "scorch" with invisible ultra violet penetrating rays. Trumpet/Vials 1-4 occur during the Great Tribulation on Israel. On page 2 of the 6 pages of Revelation (table 32-4), chapter 9 shows 2 of the 3 woe judgments that together reach the Armageddon judgment against those armies that come to Israel (to the Valley of Jehoshaphat) to fight the Lord and his returning Saints. T/V 5 and 6 are timed as 150 days and 391 days and 1 hour, respectively, and this time occupies the last portion of the 1260 day Great Tribulation period. Remember that the Beast has only 1260 days to do his damage (and then to enter the Lake of Fire) and when we reach the start of the 7th Trumpet/Vial in chapter 10, there is a Resurrection of the Elect Israel (including Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and many Old Testament believers). Notice that Israel continues to disobey the Lord after the second woe. In chapter 10, the Lord claims the earth and the "Mystery of God" is the Resurrection (he promised that Resurrection in the Old Testament as shown in Isa 60 and Ezek 37). In chapter 11, there is a mix of events at widely divergent periods of time. Gentiles tread Jerusalem 42 months, the 2 witnesses prophesy during the same time. At the end of the 42 months, the Beast kills the 2 Witnesses who rise to heaven and the Kingdom becomes the Lord's. Note that T/V 7 (the third woe) continues to sound from the end of the Great Tribulation until the end of all of the Lord's Wrath at the end of the Millennium. In fact, according to Job 14:12, 13, there will not be the final Resurrection of the Just until the Wrath (at the end of the Millennium) is finished.
On page 3 of the 6 pages of Revelation (table 32-4), chapter 12 shows the Dragon (Satan) coming to earth at the time of the Abomination of Desolation (Category 3). The Woman (Israel) flees to Edom (the wilderness) at the start of the 1260 day Great Tribulation period and they are protected by the Lord (the Great Eagle). Note that Salvation (the Rapture) occurs at the same time Satan is cast to the earth. Satan's task during the Great Tribulation period is to bring armies (flood) against Israel and to persecute and kill believers in Christ (those that convert "after" the Rapture). Chapter 13 introduces the Beast and False Prophet who are Satanically controlled over the 1260 day Great Tribulation period (both to be cast into the Lake of Fire at its end). The False Prophet causes unbelievers to accept 666 so they can live in the evil world but will go into perdition (the Lake of Fire) when judged. Chapter 14 has ingredients of the Rapture (the earth is reaped because the Harvest is ripe) and the 144,000 Virgins are Sealed so as to follow the Bride to the Father's house in heaven. Most of the time span is the Great Tribulation period where an Angel flies through heaven and proclaims the Gospel to earth-dwellers in every nation. The fall of Babylon is "Mystery" Babylon (Jerusalem) which is severely judged during the Great Tribulation period (initiated by the gathering of the "Vine " (Israel) and casting them into the -winepress of God's Wrath). Believers in Israel who die during this Great Tribulation period are "blessed" in that they Resurrect and Reign with Christ on earth during the 1000 years of the Millennium in accord with Rev 14:13, 20:4. ??
