A common knowledge among Bible researchers has always been; When you read the word therefore in the Word of God, find out what therefore is there for! Therefore, learn every therefore of Gods Words!
When you read anything that is said once in the Word of God, it means it is important.
When anything is said twice in the Word of God, it means it is very important.
When anything is said three times in the Word of God, it means it is incredibly important.
What are we to think then if there is something said six times? How important then would that be? After you read what they are you may think of them as being unimportant, but I assure you, until you learn the truth of the first six of Scripture, you may be walking around in wounded faith.
And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Gen 1:5) And the evening and the morning were the second day. (Gen 1:8) And the evening and the morning were the third day. (Gen 1:13) And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. (Gen 1:19) And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. (Gen 1:23) And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Gen 1:31)
Those are, of course, the infamous six days of creation.
Just as easily, God could have said in His letter to us; (Paraphrasing) I created all things in six days! First, I created Darkness and Light, Day and Night; Second, Waters and divided the waters; Third, Earth, Vegetations and Fruits; Fourth, Lights in the heavens and the Sun and Moon; Fifth, Life creatures for within the Waters; Sixth, Life creatures to dwell on the land, man and woman to live on the Earth; ---- I rested on the Seventh day.
But God did not speak of His creations in that manner. Six times God has purposely elected to state exactly what creations were fulfilled on each of His (not mans) evening and morning days which became of course, Gods periods of Time! Gods Days of Time has now started!
In the theatre of your mind, imagine now, here is an eternal God ---- creating things that would automatically be eternal (since the Creator Himself is Eternal) ---- but He is creating them within six very specific periods of Time! Why didnt God just go ahead and create everything without adding the words evening and mornings? After all, wouldnt all those things be in a state of eternity since death was not yet present in the world, and therefore, why do the words evening and mornings need to be added at all? All things created would be eternal unless there is by Gods necessity a purpose for God to declare them as being His evening and mornings!
God creates and operates eternally in all things! Therefore, everything that God creates must be eternal unless God has assigned specific periods of time for each of His future events and future purposes to occur. Nothing can come into existence until God causes them to come into existence! (John 1:3) Therefore, within Gods words there is by necessity a Law of Unless and Until which is the ultimate why of Gods added words, evening and mornings!
The first use of the first three words of evening and morning of the first day speaks specifically of a Gods declared period of time and those periods of time are the length of a Gods Day. God will use His declared periods of time (His Gods Days) as the timing for His fulfillments for His future prophetic events. (appointed time; time appointed; process of time; fullness of time; etc.)
Titles, (names) that are given by God are very important. For instance, God gave the last day of His Creation Days the title of Day of Rest. But it is the precise words that God used within the verses of the First Day that are extremely important in our study of Gods Days of Time. Why? Because it is also on that First Day where God specifically titles five other things, and again, titles are very important. Lets read those events and those titles; (Gen 1:3-5) 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
God titled, (gave names to) Light, Day, Night, and evening and morning. This Light that God commanded to take authority over the darkness was not sunlight. The Sun was not created until the fourth (4th) day. God commanded His own Light to take authority over all darkness, both physical and spiritual darkness, and His Light has the preeminence over all other forms of light. (Isa 45:7)
This separated light titled Day is not the light of our Sun, nor is this the light that emanates from the stars! Stars do not yet exist! Neither is this separated darkness that is called Night the shadow caused by our Sun! The Sun does yet exist! And yet, God still called the separated parts Day and Night. Why did God do that?
How can there be Day and Night without our Sun or Moon? God did not declare those two titles on the fourth day after the Stars and after our Sun and Moon were created as some would have us to believe. Those titles were given by God on the very First Day! (That has great significance)
Since God has separated His Light on the First Day and named them Day and Night, then by necessity their separation creates the first evening and morning. And since there are no earth-days as yet, (not even a single rotation), and since there is no Sun and no Moon as yet, then this First Evening and Morning (and all others thereafter) are, of an absolute truth, Gods evening and mornings which makes them Gods Days of Time, not mans!
So how long is a Gods Day of Time?
