Part One: Children of God Chapter Five: Temple of Solomon a
Yeshuas address to the Temple Upon becoming a Rabbi:
And the burning bush spoke to Moses saying, I am that I am!. Yeshua kissed the scroll and let it roll back up. Then he lifted his heavily lidded, round, dark eyes and gazed gently at us all. Then he spoke clearly and calmly and with a softness that no booming voice of Yohan could out do. His lovely voice held us entranced as he spoke freely and confidently. God is speaking to Moses! Directly out of Gods living loving light a voice tells Moses the most important wisdom ever uttered on earth: I am that I am! And so, like God, all of us are alive with an inner being! Behind my eyes, inside these robes and this fleshly garment made of skin, beats a heart and lights a mind that thinks constantly; even in our sleep the mind dreams on! We are all eternally alive within! I am also that I am! That is Gods eternal human creation and our immortal birth rite! Lo! All of creation is alive with inner being. It is said in this temple that the world is a vibrational plane of existence that exists with other more or less physical planes that vibrate at different rates. The Egyptians say the same and the Persians, and I have heard that the Hindu Vedas say as much.
But it is also true that this I am presence of God is eternal! And so are we all: Jew and Gentile! Heathen, sinner, slave and exile! Every blessed one of us! A few of the faces among the priests, scribes, and Temple elders turned to scowls and some even allowed a few exclamations of blasphemy and absurd. But Yeshua smiled and went right on:
In that infinite eternity of inner being, we all exist on a subtle plane of existence. That is what we call the Spiritual Kingdom of Heaven. In my dreams I walk its glowing streets and sing in its radiant Temples.
He paused and smiled while some among the distinguished guests and Temple Elders, followed by scowling Priests, scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees, and assorted others; walked out in protest, shouting angrily at the young man who went bravely on as if he were blind deaf and dumb to their angry voices.
But we have also come to experience the outer worlds of God the Mothers physical creation. We have left our Fathers spirit home in the inner eternity to live an infinity of lifetimes here as The Mother Gods child, a creature of the outer eternity! It is said that this was a rebellion in heaven against God. It is written that an arc-angel of immense conceit wanted to rule over Gods creation! It is written that Adam ate the apple Eve offered him and that the desire for the true knowledge of Good and Evil was an original sin against God.
But I say that those ancient tales are fine for old men to tell their children around the evening cooking fire. But the wise know that there was no rebellion! It was the courageous act of those adventurous spirits who wished to forgo their blessed eternity in the inner worlds where all is holy. We all agreed to forget our immortal inner eternity and become a creature of the flesh! And we followed our great desire to enter into Gods swirling creation as his trusting children. Throughout the ages we have been living here, life time after lifetime the mystics tell us, only to return to the inner worlds and await a time to be reborn again in garb of flesh. And we gladly give up our angelic memories and power so that we can start afresh each time. But our eternal spirits dwell deep within us and retain all the memories and experiences in our eternal being. That is the personal spirit of God within us all, whispering humbly to us each night in our dreams. This Holy Spirit is Gods gift to us and to all beings; the Hebrew Children of Abraham, and the Gentiles! We all possess this immortal gift and are allowed complete freedom in how to use it. A diamond spark of God exists in all people everywhere; but it is our singular being that directs that eternity through desire and through free choice. We have come to live in Gods Perfect Universe to experience and appreciate its ever evolving eternities! He looked out over the remaining folk and smiled again. He drank water out of an ornate golden cup beside him and began again.
But do we live in this world governed by the fact that we are immortal co-creators with God of this perfect universe? Do we live each day in gratitude for his eternal gift of the richness of our inner being? Do we honor and cherish the outer world in all its marvelous complexity? No. We have largely lost our faith in our own true nature and we have lost the nobility and grace that once ennobled human beings and honored this world. We live in fear of death and we do not trust God to be a living loving light of pure love that burned in that bush before Moses! No! We breed lust and greed and power and we exaggerate our own importance beyond all bounds and measure. Selfishness, poverty, injustice and brutality have found Gods people and sent torrents of sacred blood streaming from the cruel morbid forests of Roman crosses! How could God allow this in his creation? How could men have come so low and full of perversity and blood lust? Are these also the immortal sparks of Holy God that can do these terrible things? It is said that murderers came in the night to Bethlehem to seek out a prophet born in a stable and that they killed many innocent children in their search. What tyrant could order such a thing? Does this tyrant, Jew, Gentile, or Bedouin, have a diamond jewel of Gods being whispering within him? Is he too an immortal angel who has forgotten the sacred inner worlds of Gods Kingdom? Yes. The simple and profound answer is. Yes. Every one that lives is an immortal co-creator with God.
