We have been on a river flowing with grace. We are now entering the land of the Spirit. We will do many battles and many battles will be won for the praise and glory of God. All battles will be done in the spirit-no flesh involved. Just as the children of Israel had to face giants, we will face giants. The Lord showed me a large tree. A wind was shaking the tree. It was a strong wind. The old leaves fell off the tree and then new leaves appeared on the tree. The tree is symbolic of the church. God is doing a shaking in the church. The deadness will fall away and new life will appear.
Just as a woman goes through pain and difficulty giving birth to a child, the church will have pain and difficulty when expanding the church. The contractions are the prayers that will energize the coming forth of the birth. The sack of water is symbolic of the Holy Spirits protection of the birth. The church is in a birthing process.
The Lord showed me a bunch of threads going over, under, and crisscrossing one another. This was a tapestry being woven. At the spinning wheel was the Holy Ghost. God is making a beautiful tapestry for the wedding feast of the Lamb. The threads flew in perfect rhythm and timing.
The Lord reminded me of Elijahs bones in a hole. He said the marrow of the bones is the Word. Whenever someone comes in touch with the church with the Word in their marrow of their bones those people will come alive.
I saw a huge sponge. We were like a sponge soaking in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The sponge became saturated and was even dripping. Then two huge hands appeared and squeezed the sponge. Liquid flowed from the sponge but as it flowed out it turned into oil which was an anointing on the community.
While we were worshiping I was thinking about the return of Christ and how glorious that will be. Gods majesty and holiness were powerful in the spirit. Suddenly I saw a flash of brilliant light. Out of the light pushed forward a huge purple scepter. The Lord said this was His scepter of authority and he has passed it onto us. We must use it wisely and only powered by the Holy Spirit.
The Lord showed the church as a large piece of meat. Our prayers were marinating the meat.
Then the Lord showed me His heart while I was listening to the beat in the music. He said we must move with the rhythm of His heart. There were breezes flowing around the heart. He said these were the prayers of the saints.
As words came forth about the womb and what God was birthing, I was reminded of the stages of labor and how tiring it gets and how a woman may desire to stop pushing. But to bring a child (Gods plan) to birth we must focus on Him-dealing with one contraction at a time and not being discouraged.
