HOLD ON TO YOUR LIFE
I do not know you, but I care. My heart is with you, now. I have no clue of what you’re going through, But I know you can make it somehow.
Do you realize how strong you have been so far, That you have survived all of this pain? So holding on longer, may yet make you stronger, and Things won’t forever be the same.
No one knows what tomorrow may bring; Your whole future could change in a breath. I know you have dreams for a better life - And that alone is better than death!
Just because now, you feel down and out, Or your past has been painful and bleak, Isn’t worth losing what may be in store, No matter how tired or weak.
Moment by moment, thought by thought, It could all change with a simple prayer. When there’s nowhere to turn, I have learned That God is always there.
You may not think so, (but not one of us knows The ways in which God moves - Only by His time, His rhythm, His rhyme) But His love He overall proves.
He didn’t plan for you to have Such loss of hope and strong despair - He sacrificed His Son for you To prove His loving care!
Nothing’s so terrible that God can’t forgive. We’re all sinners and sin is sin. All He wants is for us to rely On our faith and our trust in Him.
Sure, things won’t change instantaneously And you may have some work ahead, But God has promised, to each a plan - So you’ll have hope instead of dread.
There are people who’ll help you if you’re willing to seek. There are Christian books you could read. It’s never too late to choose your fate, Especially with God in the lead!
Have you never heard of lives that were blurred But now they’re survivors of such? How everything changed as God rearranged Their hearts with His gentle touch?
Ask Him. Trust Him. Hold on to your life. He’ll eventually show you the way. To Him you are dear. He’s always been near. He’s just waited for you to say,
“Dear Father, I need You. I’m scared on my own. I do believe Christ died for me. I’m sorry for everything that I have done. Please change my life and set me free.
I also forgive others who may have caused this pain. I just want to press forward from here. I’ll seek You ‘til found, pray my chains come unbound. I relinquish my pain and fear.
Thank-you, Father, for reclaiming me, The one who lost my way. I love You, God. I’m Your’s to keep. In Jesus’ name I pray.”
Now all you must do is follow through In surrendering your life to His care. He’ll never leave you, forsake or deceive you, And His plans for your life He will share.
Soon you will know, how your past made you grow. He’ll use your experiences for His glory! Just like me, one day, you will see - So hold on. You will not be sorry.

You must hold on, so you can do what God wants and receive what He has promised. Hebrews 10:36 [NCV]
We have around us many people whose lives tell us what faith means. So let us run the race that is before us and never give up ... Hebrews 12:1 [NCV]
But the people who trust the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky; they will run and not need rest; they will walk and not become tired. Isaiah 40:31 [NCV]
HE ALWAYS ANSWERS
We may think that God’s not answering our prayer, Yet, it may be due to what we’re asking for; If it’s not His will or part of His plan, Then, this blessing, He has not in store.
For God always hears and answers us, It’s just, sometimes the answer is ‘no’. Possibly, it’s simply not the right time; Either way, trust and patience should grow.
Our Father loves to bless His children And His gifts don’t ever run out, But we shouldn’t use prayer when only in depair – That’s not what fellowship’s about.
He wants us to include Him in everything, Not just to be treated like our credit card; To share in our laughter, our dance, our songs, Not only when our journeys are hard.
We should praise Him for what He’s already done! We need to appreciate His grace! We need to thank Him for His wisdom and strength, And His being there through all we face!
If you truly trust in His will for your life, You’ll experience the answers to prayer, For if you sincerely try to comply with His goal, You’ll be asking for the things God will share!
