“Something’s coming, I don’t know what it is, but it is gonna be great!”
This wonderful song reminds us to live our lives out of THE POSSIBILITIES. Not what is going on in your experience, in your situations, in your life circumstances now, but expecting your good at any time, and keeping your thoughts on fulfillment! Truly expecting your good, and accepting the good you not only want, but deserve, in every area of your life.

“Could be, who knows?”
This isn’t a statement of apathy, but an expectation of all possibilities. Going to, and creating out of that "who knows?" place in the Universe. That is the mysterious, mystical, metaphysical place out of which all things are created.

“There’s something due any day, I will know right away, soon as it shows”

You will “know right away” by going within yourself, knowing that you are one with and a part of everything that IS in this magnificent Universe! Maybe it’s more apt to say “soon as YOU show.” It will happen when you know you are connected to this universal creative power.

"It may come cannon-balling down through the sky,
Gleam in its eye, bright as a rose"

Isn’t that really what happens in effect, in life? Out of the ether, the substance, the energy of the universe--everything was created. Out of what looks to us like the invisible nothingness, everything was created. Even if you believe as in Scripture that God created the universe with his Word--words are invisible. So we’re still working above and beyond the physical. So either way we choose to believe, we’re working with the metaphysical are we not?

How many times have you made the comment: "It just came out of the blue!" Think on this…doesn’t it happen all the time? What seems like it may have happened "out of the blue," becomes true in your life! But it had to begin somewhere, and that somewhere is in you. Your thoughts, your wants, your desires, start with you. And get ready--because sometimes, like the lyric says: "It may come cannon-balling down through the sky!"

"I got a feeling there’s a miracle due, gonna come true, comin’ to me"

Sometimes, don’t you just feel like that? Like for no reason other than you just have a feeling about it? And nine times out of ten that’s all you really need--to believe in that feeling so strongly that you manifest it in your environment. Not because you create it out of blood, sweat and tears, but because you have connected with that feeling of expectancy within yourself, and then it begins to out-picture in your life!

In the study of Science of Mind, it is called a "mental equivalent." It’s like when everything comes together in Mind so that it feels REAL right at that moment. There’s no thinking one way and feeling or believing another. It has to be in sync.

I remember when I was young and starting out in show biz. I didn’t have a clue how I was going to succeed in the business. I had no clue, but I didn’t know how little I knew. I just believed! I had no connections. I lived in a small town. But I could sing and dance, and I believed somewhere in the deepest part of me that someway, somehow, I could do it. So I nurtured my talent, and sang and danced anywhere they would let me. But what I realize now, is that the most important thing was believing I could somehow do it.

I remember in the early days when I was already traveling, singing and dancing in some pretty cheap clubs, I came home from a job once, and my Dad said "Why don’t you stop this nonsense and settle down, get married and have some kids? Don’t you know you have to know someone to make it in show business?" And I remember shouting back at him, "Then I’ll find out who I need to know!"

In those youthful days I really FELT what I believed, and things did come cannon-balling down through the sky on a very regular basis. I realize now that my belief in "somehow I’ll find a way," was the most important part of the whole process. Make that important in your life!

"With a click, with a shock, phone’ll jingle, door’ll knock--open the latch!"
Just think about it. How many times in your life has the phone rang, and--once again, what seemed like out of the blue--someone calls with a good word, an invitation, or a job offer? And you get off the phone and say to yourself "Wow, I never expected that, but it’s just what I needed in this moment." Now think how even more powerful you could be if you stayed in that place of expectancy regularly!

"Open the latch." Here is an opportunity to open the latch, allow the Universal flow to flood through your being. Expect your good…get in touch with the flow…open your heart. Let the energy of the entire Universe flow through you, and go with the flow! Sometimes we need to go with the flow, because for whatever the reason--even though we can’t see it--we are blocking the flow. We have literally stepped on the emotional water hose and stopped the natural flow. The flow is always there in us; that is our Life Force always creating. But we need to remove our foot from the hose.

If the Universe appears to be giving you a one-two punch, just give it over to your Higher Power and affirm: "Will it be? Yes it will! Maybe just by holding still, it’ll be there."
